Antonis Mystriotis is a Physicist. He obtained his Diploma in 1980 from the National University of Athens and his PhD in 1986 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA.
He has worked as a researcher in Greece, USA, the Netherlands, and Germany. He currently works as a researcher in the Agricultural University of Athens, Greece. His work includes a wide range of topics in interdisciplinary science and engineering such as Computational Statistical Physics, Computational Solid State Physics, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Polymers and Biobased Polymers. He has published many scientific papers in peer reviewed journals and international conferences.
"Democracy in Ancient Athens" is his first work in History. Mystriotis is very much interested in History and he enjoys reading throughout all historical periods. In the present book he attempts to apply elements of the analytical research methodology used in Physical Sciences to investigate a well-known historical period.
